Terms and conditions for using Nova Suite services. Read about our policies, user agreements, and legal information that govern your use of our platform.

Welcome to Nova, a collection of digital tools and services provided by xxavvTechnologies (xTS). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Nova, including but not limited to Nova Search, Nova Docs, Nova Gists, Nova Air, Nova Central, and any future applications introduced under the Nova brand.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Nova, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration & Nova ID

  • • A Nova ID is required to access most Nova applications and services.
  • • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
  • • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Nova ID credentials. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Sharing your Nova ID or account credentials with others is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Nova, you must not:

  • • Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
  • • Upload or share copyrighted content without authorization.
  • • Attempt to disrupt or interfere with Nova's operations.
  • • Use Nova for spam, phishing, or misleading activities.

Violating these policies may result in account suspension or termination.

4. Data Privacy & Security

  • • Nova collects and processes data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Nova Suite uses industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your files are encrypted both in transit and at rest. You maintain full ownership of your data at all times. We implement a comprehensive security framework including regular security audits and follow strict privacy guidelines. However, no system is perfectly secure, and you acknowledge that you use Nova Suite at your own risk.
  • • Your content and activity may be stored and used to improve Nova's services.
  • • We implement security measures, but we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or breaches will never occur.

5. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • • You retain ownership of the content you create using Nova. You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or input into Nova Suite, including prompts to Astro or Nova AI. You must not use Nova Suite to generate, share, or store illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
  • • By using Nova, you grant xTS a limited license to process, store, and display your content for service functionality.
  • • Nova's software, branding, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of xxavvTechnologies. Some Nova Suite projects are open source. Contributions are welcome but must comply with our code of conduct and licensing terms.

6. Service Availability & Changes

  • • Nova is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.
  • • We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any Nova service at any time.
  • • We are not liable for any service disruptions, data loss, or changes that may affect your experience.

7. Nova AI & Automated Features

  • • Some Nova apps integrate with Astro, an AI-powered assistant built on Nova AI.
  • • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated outputs.
  • • xTS is not responsible for any consequences resulting from AI-generated content.
  • • User-Generated AI Input: You are responsible for the content, prompts, and data you input into Astro or any Nova AI-powered feature. Do not submit abusive, illegal, or inappropriate material. Abuse of AI input may result in account suspension or other consequences.
  • • Informational Purposes Only: Astro and Nova AI may generate content that resembles factual, legal, medical, or financial information. This content is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

8. Beta & Experimental Features

  • • Nova Suite may offer beta, experimental, or early access features that are not part of the main product release.
  • • These features are often opt-in and may be unstable, incomplete, or subject to change at any time without notice.
  • • By using beta or experimental features, you acknowledge and accept any associated risks, including potential data loss, bugs, or service interruptions.
  • • xTS is not liable for any issues, damages, or losses resulting from the use of beta or experimental features.
  • • Beta and experimental features may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time.

9. Mobile App Versions

  • • Mobile versions of Nova Suite apps may have features that differ, either minorly or majorly, from the web and desktop versions. Not all features may be available on every platform. Download apps only from official sources listed on novasuite.one. Downloading from unofficial sources is not supported and may pose security risks.

10. Third-Party Integrations

  • • Nova Suite apps may integrate with services and content provided by third parties (e.g., weather, external content providers, authentication, etc.). We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or availability of third-party content or services. Use of these integrations is at your own risk and subject to the respective third party's own terms and privacy policies.

11. Subscription & Payment

  • • Nova Suite is free to use for personal and professional purposes, with core features and 2GB of storage included. Additional features and storage may be available through future paid plans or Nova Suite Plus, which will be offered on a donation basis. All payments are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise. We may update pricing or billing policies with prior notice.

12. Termination & Account Suspension

  • • You can stop using Nova at any time.
  • • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
  • • Upon termination, your access to Nova services and data may be revoked permanently.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • • To the maximum extent permitted by law, xTS and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nova Suite, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or unauthorized access. Your use of Nova Suite is at your own risk.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, USA. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.

16. Support & Feedback

  • • We provide regular customer support for all Nova Suite users. Our team is here to help you get the most out of our productivity tools. Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions can be submitted via our official channels. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it to improve our services.

17. No Cryptocurrency or NFT Support

  • • Nova Suite does not support or engage with cryptocurrency, NFTs, or related technologies. Any claims to the contrary are fraudulent and should be reported immediately.
