Welcome to Nova, a suite of digital applications and services provided by xxavvTechnologies (xTS). Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

A. Information You Provide

• Nova ID Registration Data – When you create a Nova ID, we collect your email, username, and any other information required for account creation.
• User Content – Any files, notes, documents, or other content you create within Nova.

B. Automatic Data Collection

• Usage Data – Information about how you interact with Nova.
• Device & Log Data – IP address, browser type, device type, and error logs.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies – Used to store preferences, enhance your experience, and support analytics or A/B testing. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
• On mobile devices, Nova may collect additional device-specific data (such as app version, Android version, and gesture events like Shake to Report) to support performance monitoring and user experience improvements.

C. AI & Machine Learning Data

• Some Nova services integrate with Astro, powered by Nova AI. When you interact with these AI-powered features, your prompts, responses, and @Handler requests (such as search or weather) may be processed in real-time to generate outputs, citations, or actions.
• Encrypted Message Storage – We save user messages between Astro and users for your convenience and usage across devices. Every message is encrypted on the way in, through, and out of our systems. This means we cannot see the content of these interactions, though they are stored securely for your benefit.
• AI interactions may be anonymized and used to improve performance or detect misuse. Saved conversations are encrypted and not used for training.
• Voice input is processed locally on your device unless otherwise noted in the app or feature.

2. How We Use Your Data

Authenticate and secure your account

Sync your data across Nova applications

Deliver AI responses and enable product features

Measure usage through anonymized analytics to improve Nova's services

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We may share data only when necessary, such as:

• Service Providers – Third-party partners who assist with hosting, security, analytics, or support.
• Legal Compliance – If required by law, we may disclose information in response to legal requests or to protect Nova users.

Nova integrates with Astro (Nova AI), which operates under strict data privacy controls. AI-generated content is processed dynamically and encrypted conversations are stored securely for user convenience.

4. Third-Party Logins & Connected Services

• Nova allows you to sign in using third-party services such as Google, GitHub, or X (formerly Twitter). When you use these services, we only receive necessary authentication data (such as your email and name). We do not access or store passwords or other unrelated account data. All third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies.
• Nova also integrates third-party APIs like OpenWeather, web search providers, and content hosting services. When used, only necessary query information is transmitted securely to those providers.

5.5. Encrypted Message Storage

Your conversations with Astro are encrypted end-to-end. We save your messages for convenience and cross-device access, but we cannot read them.

• End-to-End Encryption – Every message between you and Astro is encrypted on the way in, through, and out of our systems.
• Zero-Knowledge Storage – We cannot see the content of your conversations, even though they are stored securely on our servers.
• Cross-Device Access – Your encrypted messages are available across all your devices for your convenience.
• User Control – You can delete your conversation history at any time through your account settings.

5.6. Analytics & Engagement Data

Nova uses first-party analytics across all applications to better understand how our services are used, measure traffic, and improve user experience.

• What We Collect – Analytics data includes the number of sessions and visits, pages or screens viewed, total time spent during a session, and general device/browser information.
• Anonymization – All analytics data is anonymized. We do not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) as part of analytics.
• No Third-Party Cookies – We do not use third-party tracking cookies, nor do we sell analytics data to advertisers or external partners.
• Purpose – Analytics are used solely to improve Nova's services, guide product decisions, and monitor performance trends.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

• Your data is stored for as long as necessary to provide Nova services. Content you save, bookmark, or export (such as conversations, images, or files) will remain available in your account until manually deleted. Encrypted conversations with Astro are stored for your convenience and cross-device access. Deleted content may persist in backups for a limited time in accordance with our retention policies.
• You can request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@novasuite.one.
• Deleted accounts may result in loss of all saved data and cannot be restored.

7. Your Privacy Choices

You can:

Update your Nova ID – Modify your account details in the settings.

Control cookies – Adjust browser settings to manage cookies.

Opt-out of analytics – Disable tracking in account preferences.

8. Children's Privacy

Nova is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Feedback & AI Improvement

• When you submit feedback (e.g., via Shake to Report or in-app forms), we may use it to improve Nova's services. This includes reviewing problematic outputs, analyzing usage trends, and enhancing AI behavior. Feedback is anonymized and separated from personal identifiers unless voluntarily included in the submission.

12. International Users & Data Rights

• If you are located in the European Union, California, or other regions with data protection laws, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data. Nova Suite complies with applicable privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and provides mechanisms to access, correct, or delete your data upon request.
