User Content & Uploads Policy

Last Updated: July 2025

This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when uploading, storing, or sharing content through Nova Suite services, including but not limited to Nova Central, Nova Docs, Nova Air, and any future Nova-branded apps.

By using Nova Suite, you agree to comply with this policy in full.

1. Ownership & Privacy

  • You retain full ownership of the content you upload to Nova Suite.
  • We do not access, review, or monitor your private content unless:
    • You explicitly share it publicly or with other users, or
    • You engage in behavior that triggers a security, legal, or policy-based review (see Sections 3–5).
  • All access to your content follows the rules outlined in our Privacy Policy.

2. Public & Shared Content

  • When you publish or share content (e.g., sending a file, making a document public, or sharing a link), that content becomes visible to the people or groups you selected.
  • We may review publicly shared content to ensure it does not violate our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.

3. DMCA & Copyright Violations

  • If we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice, or otherwise determine that content you uploaded violates copyright law, we will remove the content and may notify you.
  • Repeated copyright violations may result in account suspension or termination.
  • If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a DMCA counter-notice.

4. Prohibited Content & Illegal Material

Nova Suite has a zero-tolerance policy for illegal content.

  • Uploading or attempting to store, share, or distribute content that is illegal in the United States (including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), explicit non-consensual content, or other forms of prohibited media) will result in:
    • An Account Search – a full audit of your Nova Suite account, including private files, conversations, documents, uploads, and stored data.
    • Immediate and permanent account termination
    • Reporting to law enforcement and/or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law

There are no exceptions to this policy.

5. Dangerous or Harmful Content

  • In addition to illegal material, you may not upload or share content that:
    • Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate
    • Contains malware, spyware, or code intended to damage devices or systems
    • Facilitates self-harm, suicide, or exploitation
    • Infringes upon the rights of others, including impersonation, defamation, or harassment
  • If we find such material, we may remove it and take immediate action including warnings, suspensions, or termination, depending on the severity.

6. Account Search Protocol

  • An Account Search is an internal investigation triggered by:
    • Reports of illegal or highly harmful content
    • Verified law enforcement requests
    • Detection of potential abuse via system-level safety signals
  • During an Account Search, all of your stored Nova Suite content may be reviewed by authorized xxavvTechnologies personnel under strict confidentiality and legal oversight.
