overview
this policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when creating, uploading, storing, or sharing content through nova suite. it exists to protect your ownership rights, ensure community safety, and maintain compliance with applicable laws. by using nova suite, you agree to follow this policy in full. violations may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent bans, or referral to law enforcement where applicable.
1. ownership & privacy
- you retain full ownership of all content you upload or create within nova suite.
- nova suite does not claim ownership or exclusive rights to your uploaded materials.
- your private content is not monitored or reviewed unless:
- you share it publicly or with other users; or
- it is flagged for a security, legal, or policy-based review under sections 4–6.
- any access to your data follows the terms of our privacy policy.
- you are responsible for ensuring that your uploads respect the privacy and rights of others.
2. public & shared content
- when you publish or share content (e.g., post a file, make a document public, or share a link):
- that content becomes visible to the people, groups, or audiences you've selected.
- you grant nova suite a limited license to host, display, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate our services (e.g., rendering your shared files, previews, or search indexing).
- public or shared content may be reviewed by nova moderators or automated systems to ensure it complies with:
- the acceptable use policy
- the community guidelines
- applicable laws and regulations.
- you may revoke sharing at any time by adjusting visibility settings or deleting the content.
3. dmca & copyright compliance
- Nova Suite complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other copyright laws.
- If we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice, or determine content infringes copyright, we will remove or restrict access to it and may notify you.
- Repeated violations can result in account suspension or termination.
- If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a DMCA counter-notice as described in our Copyright Policy.
4. Prohibited Content & Illegal Material
Nova Suite maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal content.
Uploading, storing, or distributing any of the following will result in immediate and permanent account termination:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized depictions of minors
- Non-consensual sexual content or "revenge porn"
- Terrorist or extremist propaganda
- Illegal trade materials, such as weapons, drugs, or stolen data
- Any other material illegal under U.S. law
If such content is detected or reported:
- A full Account Search will be conducted (see Section 6).
- Your account will be terminated immediately.
- The incident will be reported to law enforcement and/or NCMEC as required by law.
There are no exceptions to this policy.
5. Dangerous or Harmful Content
You may not upload or share content that:
- Promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, terrorism, or hate
- Contains malware, spyware, ransomware, or malicious code
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior
- Defames, impersonates, or harasses others
- Violates the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Intentionally spreads false or harmful information (e.g., deepfakes or deceptive media)
If such content is found:
- It may be removed immediately.
- Offending accounts may receive warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on the severity.
6. Account Search Protocol
An Account Search is an internal investigation that may be triggered by:
- Verified reports of illegal or high-risk content
- Law enforcement requests or subpoenas
- Detection of potential abuse by automated safety systems
- Violations of Nova's legal obligations under U.S. or international law
During an Account Search:
- Authorized xxavvTechnologies personnel may review stored content under strict confidentiality and legal oversight.
- The scope of review is limited to content relevant to the suspected issue.
- Any illegal findings may be preserved and shared with law enforcement.

7. AI-Generated & Processed Content
Some Nova Suite tools (e.g., Astro, Nova AI integrations, and Canvas) may generate, modify, or enhance user content.
By using these tools, you agree that:
- You remain responsible for all AI-generated or AI-modified content you publish.
- You will not use AI to create or upload deceptive, violent, explicit, or copyrighted material without authorization.
- xxavvTechnologies does not claim ownership of AI outputs, but may temporarily process or cache them to operate services efficiently.
- You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or biased, and you should review them before sharing.
8. Reporting Content
If you encounter content that violates this policy:

All reports are reviewed by Nova's Trust & Safety team, who may take further action if violations are confirmed.
9. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Content removal
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Restrictions on uploads or sharing functionality
- Full Account Search and audit of Nova Suite content
- Reporting to authorities or external organizations (e.g., NCMEC or FBI Cybercrime Division)
xxavvTechnologies reserves the right to take immediate action without prior notice if illegal or high-risk content is detected.
10. Liability Disclaimer
- Nova Suite is a hosting and productivity platform, not a publisher.
- We are not liable for user-generated or user-uploaded content.
- You are solely responsible for the material you upload, create, or share.
- By uploading, you affirm that you have the rights, permissions, and licenses for that content.
- We may, in good faith, cooperate with legal authorities and rights holders investigating misuse of our platform.
- Use Nova Suite's storage and sharing tools at your own risk.
11. Policy Updates
- This policy is reviewed every 6 months and may be updated at any time to reflect new laws, technologies, or Nova Suite features.
- You will be notified via email when significant changes occur.
